I'm a molecular biologist, turned bioinformatician, turned research-software engineer.

I started in microbial ecology wet lab work, then moved into population genetics and taxonomy. This path led me to bioinformatics and software development, where I now work as a PhD student in molecular epidemiology, developing analytical tools and infrastructure for viral research
